Cierra Batiste

Hello, I am Cierra Batiste, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. I am also a National Certified Counselor with over 6 years of counseling experience. I attended undergraduate and graduate school in Tennessee where I also received most of my early experience in counseling. I currently reside in Dallas, TX where I do most of my practice. My background is mostly in trauma, depression, substance abuse and troubled youth. I’m currently a doctoral student under the CES program at Capella University. I am also working on my supervision license to gain additional experiences in the counseling field. I currently work in private practice part time and a current director at a behavioral hospital. My treatment approach is person-centered along with cognitive behavioral therapy. My goal is to help individuals that have went through life challenges that have impeded healthy living. With a collaborative effort, we are able to create positive results. Regularly I seek out outdoor activities on the weekend. I also have a love for restaurants and experiencing new cultures.
