Christopher "Chris" Engle

I’m a social worker in Ellettsville Indiana, just outside Bloomington. I’ve worked in Southern Indiana for over 37 years. I was a college counselor at Indiana University for 20 years. Now I’m in private practice. My background is in cognitive behavioral therapy and I use a here and now approach. I believe that nothing in therapy should be a mystery so you can see what we are doing, as we do it. I primarily work with anxiety and depression now but I have experience in much more, ranging from addictions, child and family therapy, chronic mental illness, crisis intervention, geriatrics, and medical social work. In my work in college counseling I gained a lot of experience working with international people from the Far East, India, the Middle East, and Latin America.
