Hello there and welcome to Bettterhelp! My name is Christal and I would love to welcome you to this platform. What is your story? Everyone has one, and it’s the details of that story that has led you here today. My approach to therapy is simple. I help client’s “Do Their Work.” If you’re ready for a breakthrough, and are ready to do your work, then I’m your counselor. It’s as simple as that! If you’re reading this, then you’re probably in a space right now where you’re trying to work through some things in your life that might be tough. I specialize in the “tough stuff” and make it my goal to help my clients do their work as they navigate through life’s challenges. As a licensed mental health counselor, and marriage and family therapist I firmly believe that anyone can change. If you are here, you are one step closer to pressing towards your healing and finding the happiness that you deserve. You have now entered the judgement free zone, and once entered, you will find the support, care, and compassion that you need to help you through this tough time. Though I specialize in treating many different types of issues, (for more information please check out my specialties or simply just ask) I firmly believe that unraveling a person’s story helps to develop insight and awareness, which in turn gives way to healing. YOU CANNOT HEAL WHAT YOU DON’T ACKNOWLEDGE, (and with that being said) it is my goal to help you tell your story, exactly the way that it is, in order to empower you to rewrite it. You are the author, and you hold the pen to determine what the outcome of your story will be. In this safe space, you are not just another client with just another issue. While you are working with me I want to help support you not just once a week (during our weekly scheduled sessions) but throughout the week as well. I encourage my clients to communicate as much as they need to and I make it my goal to respond to client messages within 24 hours of its delivery. It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.
