Cherysh Green-Caldwell

Cherysh is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She completed her Master’s Degree in Social Work at the Albany State University. She has clinical experience across a variety of treatment settings including mental health/substance abuse programs, hospice care settings, and criminal justice treatment settings. Cherysh has provided clinical and administrative supervision to social work students, interns, and professionals. She has a broad range of clinical experience working with individuals and groups during her professional career in the following areas: • Depression • Anxiety Disorders • Behavioral and Discipline Challenges • Complicated Grief Reactions • Chronic Pain and Chronic Illness • Anger and Stress Management • Family and Relationship Issues • Suicide Assessment and Risk Reduction • Group Psychotherapy • Chronic Mental Illness • Self-image and Self-Esteem Issues Cherysh’s approach emphasizes the mutual development of goals for therapy and the provision of ongoing evaluation of the therapeutic approach. Cherysh continues to seek ongoing updates to her skills and knowledge base. She is invested in an approach emphasizing a more integrative, dynamic, and holistic approach to mental health and behavioral health. Cherysh works with clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. She understands that it takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. She aims to support & empower clients in that journey.
