I’ve always said that therapy is not for people who are “screwed up” but for people who want to learn more about themselves and become empowered to make changes. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (in both Virginia and California), I have over 22 years of clinical experience in civilian, military, and hospital settings. I am a proud female Veteran with a specialty in helping others cope with life’s stressors and transitions. I am an advocate for individuals with chronic illness, and my past experiences as a transplant social worker, have inspired me to specialize in issues relating to health inequities and social justice issues. While my passion has always been about service to others, just know that I will also challenge you in areas where you may feel stuck or defeated.
