Catherine Boone

I am Cathy Boone. I am licensed and credentialed in Texas with twenty-nine years of professional work experience in the educational setting. Nineteen years of my experience is as an elementary school counselor. From my school experience, I spent a considerable amount of time working with clients on a variety of issues such as stress and anxiety management, goal setting, and self regulation. Furthermore, I worked with individuals experiencing trauma and abuse, as well as coping with the effects of these issues. Supporting clients as they work through grief and postpartum experiences are also in my expertise. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy in my practice. This type of therapy involves identifying and challenging irrational feelings and thought patterns to change behavior.
