I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I have over 15 years of experience working with adults, children, and teens ages 4-18 in an educational setting, and 6 years working as a counselor in a counseling setting. Over the 6 years, I have worked with children and adults who have experienced domestic violence, physical, sexual, or emotional abuse, as well as with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, sexual identity, bipolar, borderline personality disorder, DMDD, and ODD. I have been working with Better Help since the fall of 2021, and I am licensed to work with clients who live in Texas. My counseling style is warm, inviting, calm, and genuine. I believe that, given the right tools, you can learn to listen and understand what you need to move forward in life. Listening, and treating all persons with respect, compassion, honesty, and sensitivity is my strength, and my motto . My approach to counseling combines Expressive Arts, EMDR, DBT, and CBT with a Person-Centered approach that allows the client to lead. Your plan will be tailored to specifically meet you learn to navigate your needs, wants, desires for your life. I believe that it takes courage to trust someone and ask for help.
