Hello and welcome to BetterHelp! Every great change starts with one decision to try something different and I applaud your courage in taking this first step! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with over 5 years experience working with individuals and families, helping them work through some of life’s most difficult moments. My specialities include working with individuals struggling with issues related to anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and life changes. As your therapist, I will help you navigate through these difficulties and the emotions associated with them, while providing support and encouragement. It is my belief that you are the expert of your life and the author of your story, I am simply here to provide support and guidance as your find the right words for each chapter. As a therapist, I strive to create a non judgmental, safe space for my clients to work through their emotions and difficulties. I have extensive experience in utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in order to help my clients recognize the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I am also well versed in Solution Focused Brief Therapy ( SFBT) and utilize this modality in session to aid clients in changing their focus from what is going “wrong” to what they want their life to look like. This allows us to work together in coming up with solutions and setting long term goals.
