About Bryan Young

Welcome to BetterHelp. If you’re wrestling as a man with your mental health, the focus here is on anxiety, anger, or relationship struggles. I also work with individuals facing chronic mental health challenges, with ptsd, C-PTSD, and symptoms associated with depression and anxiety. I offer short-term therapy focused and structured for people wanting to know how anxiety and anger relate to each other, and longer-term psychodynamic therapy for those ready to go beyond mental health labels, which in the first session we will need to talk about which type of therapy you would benefit most from. Based on your concerns and what you hope to accomplish in therapy. Back when I worked as an intake specialist at a veteran’s hospital, I would offer water before intake. We’re wired to ask “why” when we need structure and to be equipped to empty our lungs and face reality and ask what now ? Because language and hospitality are responses, they equip us stay grounded in daily life. As a therapist, I never intend to fix a person, but to equip based on how you express concerns and what you want to accomplish in therapy. When you are ready, I would be honored to help you be the best version of yourself possible, because you are taking steps to better yourself and your whatever situation you find yourself in.
