About Barbara Spruill

Hello and congratulations on taking the first step to a better you. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, licensed in the state of Texas. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, hoarding and combat related PTSD. I am also a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, as many times clients will self-medicate in order to seek relief. I have worked with clients in all walks of life, to include couples, single parents, military/veterans and those with present and past legal issues. I am also a military veteran and can relate to many challenges our military face while serving our country. My therapy style is eclectic as it allows me to use the most effective methods available to address each individual client’s needs. I believe in treating everyone with dignity and respect and I believe in meeting my clients where they are and will not rush the process. Again, I applaud you for taking the first step to self-care. I look forward to taking the journey with you.
