Dr. Anton Armbruster

I am licensed in New York with 40 years of professional experience as a psychologist. The spectrum of my work with clients ranges from helping cope with stress and anxiety to working on issues of motivation, self-esteem, confidence, coping with life changes, and the pursuit of meaning. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment conducive to insight and where thoughts and feelings can be sensitively examined. I am a multi-modal, integrative therapist experienced in diverse techniques ( depth psychologies, spiritual psychotherapies, behavioral, affective, existential, and cognitive-behavioral modalities). I am also a neuroscientist. I am professionally committed to the therapeutic philosophy that the client’s needs and styles dictate the mix of methods, not the other way around.
