My name is Anthonia, but I go by Tonia, and I’m a licensed counselor that lives in Houston. I am licensed in Texas with 6 years of professional counseling experience, as a school counselor and professional counselor. And while my background is in public education, I have transitioned to professional counseling and love it. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, & depression. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. My counseling style is witty and enthusiastic, and those that either know me personally or have worked with me professionally would say that I am supportive, committed, and an advocate for positive mental health experiences. Our therapeutic process will be guided by goal setting and establishing strategies and skills to help reach the desired outcome.
