Greetings! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Georgia. I am originally from New York and have over 12 years of counseling experience. I have and continue to work with clients who have had challenges with anxiety, depression, relationships, military families, parenting, foster care, changing careers, domestic violence, trauma, and emotional abuse. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. I am committed to helping everyday people who experience everyday problems. I believe in allowing clients to set their own treatment goals and help them when they are unable to identify where to begin. I use humor and a gentle, yet direct approach during therapy. I pull from various theories to help clients but focus on how one’s thoughts, feelings and actions are connected and play a role into maladaptive behaviors. I enjoy engaging clients in the therapeutic process using various tools, therapeutic activities and homework assignments for clients who need “a little something extra”.
