Angela Bellinghausen

My name is Angie Bellinghausen. I have over 25 years of experience. I am a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), as well as a Certified Life Coach. I have extensive experience with best practices and strength-based care. I combine the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Transactional Analysis (TA), and encourage the use of mindfulness. I have experience working with clients for self-empowerment and personal growth, depression and anxiety reduction, stress reduction, grief and bereavement, increased coping skills and mindfulness, self-care, life challenges, as well as mental health and substance use issues. I have been privileged to work with a wonderfully diverse population of clients that has never stopped to amaze me and enriched my knowledge and understanding as a therapist and Life Coach. I continue to strive to increase my knowledge and training with a holistic approach. I believe in focusing on healing and increasing wellness rather than focusing on a diagnosis. I believe in both a traditional and integrative approach to therapy and allowing the client to find what best resonates with them. We are all on a journey through life facing challenges as they come. I believe part of my journey is to help individuals through life’s challenges. For me, helping other is a privilege and an honor.
