About Amira King

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with three years of experience providing therapy to individuals facing a wide range of challenges. My clinical background includes working with clients navigating mood disorders (such as depression and bipolar disorder), anxiety, psychotic disorders, trauma, and issues related to abandonment and attachment, grief and much more. I have supported individuals through complex emotional struggles and helped them build healthier patterns in their relationships and sense of self. I work with clients as young as 5 years old and as old as 65 years old. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to meet your unique needs. I draw from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), and psychodynamic approaches, while also focusing on attachment and trauma-informed care. I am also EMDR trained. Whether you’re struggling with overwhelming emotions, difficult life transitions, or long-standing patterns that feel hard to break, I offer a safe space to explore, heal, and grow.
