My name is Amanda Grant, MSW, LCSW. I have experience in providing therapy to clients in the areas of depression, anxiety, grief and loss, self-esteem concerns, teenage topics (including school, career choice, parental concerns, relationships, etc.), negative self-talk, domestic violence, victims of violence, history of trauma, abuse, and a few others that you are welcome to inquire on. I like to create a welcoming , open-minded, and empowering relationship that will assist clients in strengthening themselves to improve any situation that may be affecting their quality of life. My approaches used are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy (NT), motivational interviewing (MI) , solution focused therapy, client-centered therapy, grief counseling, and trauma focused therapy. Of all the steps someone can take in their life there is immense courage and strength in recognizing and taking a step to talk to someone; to allow someone in a space that many find private and vulnerable. I am here to support, listen, guide, respect, provide compassion, empowerment, and assist YOU in your journey! I look forward to working with you!
