Allison is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 8 years experience. Her education background includes a variety of topics including corrections, substance abuse, career counseling, and child/adolescent counseling. Her work experience includes adolescent and young adult outpatient counseling, and working with individuals involved with the criminal justice system. Allison has experience helping clients with depression, anxiety, life transitions, and various other mental health and challenges. Allison uses a person-centered approach, along with cognitive-behavioral therapy. She understands the importance the therapeutic relationship has on achieving client goals. Allison will help the clients challenge their thought patterns and gain confidence their problem solving skills.
