Hello, I’m Aisha. Thank you for taking the time to allow me to be a part of your journey. I know making the decision to seek help may not have been easy, and I’m so happy that you reached out. You’ve made the first big step in creating a change in your life, and that’s something to be proud about. I have worked with individuals and couples of all ages seeking counseling in the areas of anxiety, depression, school concerns, and relationship issues for over five years. My experience spans across schools, hospitals, and private practice settings. I also specialize in life transitions, military and veteran support, learning disorders, spirituality, stress management, adolescent and teen behavioral health, and intimate/romantic relationships. I feel it is a gift to offer light in those times of darkness. Compassion, patience, and understanding are only a few of my qualities. I am easy to talk with and aim to create a safe and non-judging environment. My counseling approach ranges from cognitive behavioral, client-centered, solution-focused, and motivational interviewing. However, I focus on the client and tailor what is necessary to help you accomplish your goals in therapy. Again, welcome to the first step in making a positive change in your life. I look forward to learning your story and supporting your journey. Stay encouraged! “You define your own life. Don’t let other people write your script.” — O.W.
