Adele Barnes

Hi! My name is Adele Barnes and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in South Carolina. I have a Master of Arts Degree from Webster University in Counseling with a concentration in Professional Mental Health. I have 5 years of experience providing individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy sessions to children, adolescents, and adults. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to assist individuals with anxiety, self-esteem issues, depression, grief, suicidal ideation, self-harming behaviors, dealing with life changes, and more. I believe building rapport and establishing a trusting therapeutic counseling relationship is vital. I believe in providing a safe, comfortable, and nonjudgmental environment. Sometimes on our life journey we encounter situations that may be difficult for us to handle alone and need the guidance of others. As a counselor I am here to help you handle life difficult moments and equip you with positive coping strategies to deal with these difficulties.
