Aaron Hurtado

My name is Aaron (he/him). I am a licensed clinical social worker in Colorado with over a decade of professional work experience in the health and mental health space. My deep passion is to bring hope to individuals on their journey to rediscovering themselves. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, aging issues, LGBTQIA2S+ related issues, coping with grief and loss, and issues around motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. My approach in the therapy space is to be curious and open. I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and love to integrate nature-based interventions (eco-therapy) into my work. In addition, I am a registered yoga teacher and work to incorporate concepts of mind/body connection and breathwork into our sessions to increase awareness of arousal and self-regulation. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
