About
Youth Care Treatment Center is a residential treatment program that has served teens ages 12-17 suffering with mental health or addiction for over 30 years in Utah, Nevada, and Idaho. They offer individualized treatment programs to meet every child's need, including residential treatment, academic treatment, and continuing care. Their programs are designed to help adolescents develop the skills they need to become responsible young men and women. The center has a home-like structure and emphasizes mutual respect and personal responsibility. Family therapy sessions are held every week, and family members are invited to campus for Parent Days. Youth Care's philosophy is based on the belief that young people in crisis are best served in a home-like setting that prioritizes personalized interactions, close supervision, and comprehensive professional support. They have a fully accredited academic program and a co-ed partial hospitalization program (PHP) to continue growth after residential treatment. With a dynamic and supportive environment, Youth Care students benefit from the guidance of caring professionals who know them as unique individuals with specific strengths, weaknesses, hopes, and fears.
