Founded in 1957, YAI has grown to become a leading organization in the I/DD community, supporting over 20,000 people across New York State, New Jersey, and California. With a team of over 4,000 employees, YAI offers more than 300 programs for people of all ages, including those with autism, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy. Their services range from education and employment support to crisis and behavior interventions, and residential services.
