The organization, which was founded in 1957, has a team of over 4,000 employees and supports over 20,000 people in the I/DD community. YAI offers more than 300 programs for people of all ages, operating in New York State, New Jersey, and California. Their services include education, clinical services, community and socialization, crisis and behavior support, day services, employment support, family support, residential services, and technology. YAI is committed to providing first-rate, essential services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or behavioral health needs to enable living, loving, working, and learning in their communities.
