Western DuPage Special Recreation Association (WDSRA) is a cooperative extension of nine communities' park districts, providing inclusive recreational opportunities for individuals of all ages with special needs. Established in 1976, WDSRA offers hundreds of social and recreational programs year-round, catering to a wide range of disabilities, including Attention Deficit Disorder, Autism, Behavioral and Learning Challenges, and more. Their programs are designed to be engaging, community-based, and positive experiences for all participants. From adaptive sports and Special Olympics to cultural arts and social clubs, WDSRA has something for every interest. Their expert staff provides assistance and support through Inclusion Services, adapting materials and sending support staff as needed, at no additional cost to participants. With programs available for individuals as young as 3 years old to seniors, WDSRA is committed to enriching lives, connecting communities, and creating fun through inclusive recreational opportunities.
