Serving families in the Austin area and beyond, all of their services are free. They provide interactive courses, support groups, case management, workshops, and more, offered in English or Spanish, virtually or in-person in Austin, Texas. VELA's approach focuses on peer-to-peer learning, culturally responsive services, equity, dynamic teaching, building community, and centering self-compassion. By removing isolation and creating safe and welcoming spaces, VELA helps families gain the knowledge, support, resources, and community to become their child's greatest advocates.
