The practice is dedicated to meeting the needs of families in the South Sound region by providing a warm and supportive environment where they can learn about their child's developmental needs. Therapeutic Beginnings aims to help children reach their potential by treating the whole child using evidence-based practices and techniques learned from experience. The team believes that children learn about their environment and how to exist within it by playing and interacting with their surroundings, and they strive to make therapy as fun and motivating as possible. With a history of providing intervention services to families since 2007, Therapeutic Beginnings has established itself as a trusted resource for pediatric occupational and speech therapy in the area.

Occupational Therapy
Can help with screening, evaluation, and treatment of fine motor skills, gross motor skills, handwriting, motor planning, emotional regulation, play skills, feeding, sensory processing difficulties, visual motor/perceptual deficits, self-care skills, torticollis, infant motor milestones, postural control, executive functioning, and sensory diets.
Speech-Language Pathology
Can help with screening, evaluation, and treatment of articulation and phonology, receptive-expressive language, social communication skills, augmentative-alternative communication (AAC), fluency/stuttering, childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), language and literacy, voice disorders, and auditory processing disorder.
