The Seaver Autism Center for Research and Treatment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is dedicated to leading progressive research studies and providing personalized care to individuals with autism and related rare disorders. Our Center is comprised of experts in five core areas of expertise: epidemiology, pre-clinical and clinical research, drug discovery and development, and administration. We take a genetics-first approach to identifying the causes of autism and advancing effective treatments, with the ultimate goal of translating discoveries from the laboratory to participants and the community. Our multidisciplinary team works closely with families to ensure the best possible outcomes for those affected by autism.
