When is online therapy a better fit than in-person?
Online therapy is ideal if you:
  • have a busy or changing schedule,
  • live far from providers or have limited transport,
  • prefer the privacy and comfort of your own space,
  • travel frequently or split time between locations.
For many people, this flexibility is what makes it possible to actually stay in therapy.

Have questions?

At The Reason for Hope in League City, we understand that when it comes to your child’s development, it’s important to recognize when they might need speech therapy. Autism often affects a child’s ability to communicate and understand social cues, and so it’s almost always recommended that they receive speech therapy. Your child might need speech therapy if they have difficulty responding to questions, starting or ending conversations, changing conversation topics, and understanding other people’s body language. Early intervention is important to make sure your child learns language and communication skills as soon as possible. If your child is very quiet, has few words, or does not speak at all, it may be time to look into speech therapy. We want to help you learn more about speech therapy and equip you with the information you need to make the best decision for your child. Visit our website for our complete guide to speech therapy to learn more.
At The Reason for Hope in League City, we offer speech therapy to help your child communicate effectively in all environments. Our speech therapists help with nonverbal skills, forming speech in a clearer way, communicating thoughts and feelings, understanding and responding to questions, discerning facial expressions and their corresponding emotions, noticing and understanding body language, and feeding and swallowing. We also specialize in helping with stuttering. By utilizing signs, gestures, verbal speech, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), we believe that our speech therapy can provide the hope you need to help your child reach their full potential.
At The Reason for Hope in League City, we are committed to helping individuals of all ages gain independence and improve their quality of life through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. ABA is a science-based therapy that helps individuals learn new skills, reduce challenging behaviors, and increase communication and social skills. Our comprehensive guide provides all the information you need to know about ABA therapy and how it can help you or your loved one. Visit The Reason for Hope to find out how ABA therapy can bring hope and improve lives.
At The Reason for Hope in League City, we understand that the decision to pursue ABA therapy for your child is a big one. Applied behavior analysis (ABA) is a type of therapy used to help improve communication skills, introduce productive habits, and reduce harmful behaviors. However, it is important to be aware of ABA providers who claim to “cure” autism as this is not the purpose of ABA therapy. Our goal is to help people learn all that they can so they can live to their potential while embracing their unique, individual personality traits. To start and end ABA therapy, we have created a comprehensive guide to answer all your questions. At The Reason for Hope, we believe that every child deserves the chance to reach their potential and that ABA therapy can be an invaluable tool to help them do just that.
At The Reason for Hope, based in League City, we understand the importance of finding the right care for your child. That’s why we provide a comprehensive guide to ABA therapy, so you can make an informed decision about the best care for your family. ABA therapy typically requires an autism diagnosis to be covered by insurance, but it is important to confirm with your specific plan that the provider is in-network. Learn more about the cost of ABA therapy and how to determine the best course of action for your child by reading our guide.
