About
Founded in 2003 by Dr. Kary A. Johnson, the practice specializes in providing one-on-one individualized learning sessions for students of all ages. Their services include reading and math therapy, particularly for individuals struggling with dyslexia and/or dysgraphia and dyscalculia. Executive function coaching is also offered to target skill work in areas such as organization, structure, and pacing. The Reading Connection's early identification and prevention of reading difficulties can help prevent reading problems from becoming entrenched, which is crucial as 74% of children identified with reading disabilities in 3rd grade will have impaired reading ability into adulthood unless they receive specific targeted reading treatment. The practice has a virtual appointment option available upon request.
