The New York State Association for Persons in Supported Employment (APSE) is a national membership organization focused exclusively on Employment First to facilitate the full inclusion of people with disabilities in the workplace and community. With over 2,000 members and growing, APSE has chapters in 38 states, with members from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and several foreign countries. Their members include individuals with disabilities, families, disability professionals, and businesses. APSE's mission is to advance employment equity for people with disabilities, and they believe that everyone can and should work, and have the dignity of determining their career path. They offer a range of memberships for individuals and organizations, providing timely information, tools, and support to make their members the strongest advocates possible.
