The Institute for Behavior Change

Founded in 1997 by Licensed Psychologist Steven Kossor, IBC provides in-home and in-school behavioral support with tools for success and effective treatment monitoring. Their model is funded by the Medicaid EPSDT mandate at no cost to parents. IBC's staff build hope and courage in children and families, addressing challenging behavior therapeutically. With decades of experience treating children in their homes and schools, IBC's services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each child. They offer free treatment services to families, regardless of income, and distribute up-to-date information about community-based treatment delivery and behavioral health insurance funding. IBC's staff integrate effectively into school and daycare settings to provide behavioral support, offering 20, 30, or more weekly hours of individualized, intensive behavioral support for children with Autism, ADHD, and other challenges. Their treatment programs combine evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles with wraparound practices, resulting in significant reductions in challenging behaviors in less than six months. IBC serves children enrolled in Medicaid in Bucks, Delaware, and Montgomery counties in Southeastern Pennsylvania, offering face-to-face services as well as telehealth services.
