The Guidance Center | Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Program

The Guidance Center has been dedicated to its mission of strengthening families and changing lives since 1958. Our organization is deeply embedded in the local community, collaborating with schools and other organizations to provide mental health services to adults, children, and families in southeast Michigan. Our roots began with a group of concerned residents and educators who recognized the need for mental health support in the area and joined forces to create The Guidance Center. Since our founding, we have worked together to address the needs of those we serve.
