About
The Ecumenical Center is a catalyst for bringing together community leaders in the research, education, medical, and mental health professions to offer professional help and hope in a caring atmosphere. Located in San Antonio, TX, the center serves as a place of balance between those with needs and those with solutions, providing counseling for children, adults, and families, training for clergy, religious workers, and healthcare professionals, and community-based educational programs. Their mission is to alleviate suffering and facilitate spiritual, ethical, physical, emotional, and intellectual healing and growth for their community and God's world. The center is affiliated with and accredited by three prominent faith-based, standard-setting organizations: The Samaritan Institute, the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, and the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education.
