Founded by Desmond Yanamayu, the organization was conceived with a focus on supporting Black Men, Women, Children & Families facing unique challenges in mental health. While prioritizing the Black community, TBMHC welcomes individuals of all ethnicities and backgrounds. Their services extend across the Greater Cleveland area, aiming to uplift families and rebuild communities through accessible mental health care and social assistance programs. They offer mental health services in Greater Cleveland, providing counseling services tailored to men, women, children, adolescents, families, and couples in a safe and non-judgmental environment. Each treatment approach is personalized to meet the unique needs of every client, and they bring a multicultural understanding to their practice, respecting individual differences in culture, religion, and values.
