The Autism Center at NJMS is committed to providing comprehensive, evidence-based support for children and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our core team is composed of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatricians, Developmental Psychologists, and Clinical Geneticists, as well as Pediatric specialists in Child Neurology, Psychiatry, Gastroenterology, Immunology, and other areas. We offer best practice guidelines for screening, diagnosis and comprehensive developmental assessment, and collaborate with Early Intervention teams and local school personnel for the best possible outcomes. With access to specialized medical and allied health evaluations provided within the medical center, we provide families with recommendations for medical, behavioral, and educational interventions.
