About
The Art of Living is designed to empower adults with special needs to achieve their best potential through person-centered services, support to families, advocacy, and leadership enrichment. The agency came into existence in the Fall of 2009, due to the on-going demand for quality residential services for adults with special needs. Based upon the demand in their community, they began operating out of a local home in Dekalb County with one client and two employees. They provided their clients with quality care, patience, and the necessary skills to integrate in the community. Through their hard work, dedication to this population, and continuous training, The Art of Living has made great progress and is now operating several licensed homes and host-homes in the Metro-Atlanta area. Additionally, they are currently providing day support services, along with an array of other services. The Art of Living's vision is to provide a community environment where a developmental disability is a distinction not a difference. This is achieved through painting, reshaping, and creating a meaningful lifestyle for the individuals they are privileged to serve.
