Founded in 1954, the agency was started by parents who envisioned a rich, full life for their children with disabilities, inclusive of their community. With over 700 staff members, The Arc – Oneida Lewis Chapter supports more than 1,400 people throughout Oneida and Lewis Counties. The agency provides a comprehensive range of support, including educational programs, community-based services, day programs, residential services, employment solutions, and more. Their mission is to ensure that all persons with disabilities live as fully included members of their community.
