The Arc of the Triangle, Inc.

supports children and adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and autism in the achievement of their personal goals and dreams in the Chapel Hill area through partnership and advocacy. With a rich history dating back to the 1950s, The Arc has been the voice for individuals with disabilities and autism throughout the United States. Their method for service delivery is based on building person-centered plans and nurturing inclusive environments while providing specialized services. The Arc partners with the community, including public schools, universities, and local government agencies, to provide support to individuals and families. Their team of caring and dedicated employees work every day to make a difference in the lives of children and adults with disabilities and autism. The Arc offers a range of services, including Building Abilities Day Program, Building Abilities Summer Experience, Community Programs, Guardianship, Mental Health Services & Counseling, Project SEE, Support Services, and Vocational Services.
