The Arc of South Carolina

Established in 1957, the organization works in partnership with local chapters across South Carolina to support individuals with IDD and their families. They promote and protect the human rights of people with IDD, advocating for their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes. The Arc of South Carolina provides programs and services that people with IDD and their families want and depend upon in their daily lives, striving for quality and excellence in all they do. They actively engage people with IDD and their family members in leading and guiding their work, uniting and mobilizing people behind goals and strategies that will make a positive impact on the lives of people with IDD.
