The Arc of Snohomish County is a leading disability rights organization that serves people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families of all ages and spectrums, including autism, Down syndrome, and Fragile X. As part of the 140,000-member-strong Arc of the United States and its 700 state and local chapters, we advocate for those with disabilities and their families to ensure they have the support they need to be part of their communities. We were founded in 1943 as a grassroots movement of concerned parents and community members and have since grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of those living with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our volunteer board of directors and staff are passionate about our vision of providing access to information, advocacy, and skills so that every individual and family in Snohomish County can participate as active citizens and members of their community.
