The Arc of Hanover is the leading organization for citizens with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Hanover County. Last year, we provided direct services to 327 individuals and assisted many more in the neighboring localities with information and referral. Our mission is to advocate for full inclusion of people with disabilities in all aspects of the community and to educate elected officials and the public about their needs. The Arc of Hanover is managed by a volunteer board of directors and relies on donations, fundraising events, and private grants to operate.
