The Arc of Grosse Pointe/Harper Woods is a membership organization that works directly with children and adults within all levels of intellectual and other related developmental disabilities to advocate for their rights to participate fully within their community. They provide information, referral, support, and advocacy services to people with disabilities and their families to ensure they are obtaining appropriate services in the area of education, housing, employment, family support, prevention, and healthcare. The organization is affiliated with the Arc Michigan and The Arc United States, with over 700 chapters and 140,000 members collectively.
