The Arc of Craven County is a local family advocacy organization of and for people living in Craven, Jones and Pamlico Counties with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Incorporated in 1963 as a non-profit, The Arc of Craven County is affiliated with The Arc of NC and The Arc of the USA, two leading advocacy organizations. We are committed to providing individuals with disabilities the opportunity to choose and realize their goals for living, learning, working, worshiping, and playing in their communities. As a volunteer organization, we foster community programs to promote the general welfare of citizens in Craven, Jones, and Pamlico Counties of North Carolina. Everyone, from citizens with disabilities and their parents/ guardians, to providers of service, community leaders, and friends, is encouraged to participate in furthering the work of The Arc of Craven County.
