The Arc of Aurora

The Arc of Aurora is a private not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to supporting and advocating for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Based in Aurora, CO, they work with individuals, families, schools, agencies, and community partners to promote inclusion, accountability, and meaningful change. While they do not provide direct services such as housing or day programs, they focus on advocacy and systems change to help publicly funded programs better serve the people they are intended to support. Their mission is to advocate for and support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families by promoting access to resources, rights, and opportunities that foster independence, self-determination, and quality of life.
