Texana Children's Center for Autism is a governmental entity with a tax-exempt status, providing mental health, autism, and developmental disabilities services throughout Fort Bend, Austin, Colorado, Matagorda, Waller, and Wharton counties. Their evidence-based, trauma-informed approach supports individuals and families with a wide variety of services. The center has a highly trained and dynamic team of over 600 staff members, committed to helping more than 15,840 individuals annually with the care they need to move ahead. Texana Center is also designated as the Local Mental Health Authority (LMHA) and the Local Intellectual and Developmental Disability Authority (LIDDA).
