Diagnostic Intake
A diagnostic intake is the first session anyone will receive when beginning therapy/counseling. A diagnostic intake helps insure the appropriate clinical recommendations are made based on the presenting concerns.
Individual Therapy
An individual therapy session is the most common form of therapy/counseling after intake.
Relational Therapy
Relationship therapy, including marital therapy, couples counseling, premarital counseling, and family therapy, is most effectively provided by a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
Group Therapy
Group therapy sessions consist of multiple clients at once being cared for by one or more therapists. Group therapy is proven in research to be highly effective in the treatment of many different types of mental health and relationship issues.
Crisis Stabilization
Crisis stabilization is a service offered by Freeman-Burchfield Institute for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help individuals in crisis stabilize their mental health and prevent further deterioration.
