We were among the first programs in the United States, and the first in Wisconsin, to utilize deep brain stimulation for treating secondary dystonias (movement disorder). Our group also runs the only enzyme replacement therapy program for Muscular Dystrophy in Wisconsin. In addition, we continually participate in active research, in collaboration with other academic institutions, to advance treatments for seizures, movement disorders and muscular dystrophies.
