She is currently focusing on mindfulness education and training for stress reduction and short-term behavioral lifestyle management, with a special interest in helping healthcare professionals, first responders, and caregivers. Suzan's approach incorporates principles of peak performance and sports psychology, and she has given presentations integrating sports psychology and positive psychology with triathletes, marathon runners, and equestrians. She has worked with a variety of populations, including inner city children, adolescents, and young adults, and has taught in college and university settings. Suzan is also an Art Therapist (ATR) and has earned certification in Geriatric Mental Health through the University of Washington School of Social Work.
