STRIVE U is a comprehensive program that helps students gain the skills and abilities needed to live independently in their communities. Located in Foden Road, South Portland, we provide four main program areas: Community Living, Employment, Post-Secondary Education, and Transition. Our Community Living program allows students to experience living with a roommate in an apartment. Our Employment program provides students with paid work experiences that help develop valuable job skills. The Post-Secondary Education program offers certificate programs in partnership with Southern Maine Community College. Lastly, our Transition program ensures a successful and meaningful transition from STRIVE U into the community.
