The practice is led by Steve Welsh, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Advanced Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Steve has personally struggled with addiction and mental health problems and has overcome many obstacles in his own life. He believes his past experiences combined with his education and training give him a unique ability to help others with these problems. At Salmon River Serenity Wellness, clients can expect a comfortable and safe environment for their personal journey of recovery. The practice offers a wide range of services, including addiction counseling, therapy for depression, counseling for anxiety, and more. Steve's mission is to provide quality mental health and addiction recovery services to those in need without discrimination of any kind. He believes that all people have the ability to make positive changes in their life if given the right opportunities and support.
